# List your connected AI assistants

GET https://api.finput.com.au/api/v1/mcp-connections

Scoped to the caller and nobody else — an organisation admin does not see a colleague's connections, because a connection is a credential acting as one specific person.

Refuses API-token auth, and therefore MCP connections themselves: an assistant must not be able to inspect or outlive its own connection.

Reference: https://docs.finput.com.au/api/endpoints/mcp-connections/list-mcp-connections

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — JWT access token obtained from `POST /api/v1/auth/login`, or a `finput_sk_...` API token

## Response

### 200

The caller's connections.

- `results` (list of McpConnection, optional)

## Errors

### 403 Forbidden Error

API-token auth is not permitted here.

- `error` (string, optional)
- `errors` (map from string to list of string, optional)

## Types

### McpConnection

- `id` (integer, optional)
- `client_name` (string, optional) — Supplied by the AI client at registration and returned as stored. Untrusted — escape it at render time.
- `scope` (enum, optional) — `read` allows every `GET`, plus the five computation endpoints: `POST /calculator`, `/calculator/recalculate`, `/calculator/abn-lookup`, `/matrix/` and `/matrix-calculator/`. Running those still consumes daily calculator/Matrix allowance and adds to the caller's own recents; what `read` prevents is changing data another request reads back, saved scenarios included. `read_write` additionally allows mutations. Both are bounded by the owner's own permissions — a token can never exceed what its owner could do in the UI.
  - Allowed values: `read`, `read_write`
- `allow_rate_card_writes` (boolean, optional)
- `target_organisation` (integer, optional, nullable)
- `target_organisation_name` (string, optional, nullable)
- `created_at` (datetime, optional)
- `last_used_at` (datetime, optional, nullable)
- `expires_at` (datetime, optional, nullable)
- `disconnected_at` (datetime, optional, nullable)
- `is_active` (boolean, optional) — Computed server-side. Do not re-derive it from `expires_at` — clock skew would disagree with what `/mcp` actually does.
